Portrait photography often succeeds at capturing a subject at a specific time in their lives, but it fails to capture the years that got them to that moment. To reconcile this I used film to shoot each subject that expired the year they were born. The medium has aged with them from the beginning of their lives, revealing the years gone by in its colors and qualities. (Still in progress)
