Ancestor Daniel Kahn, revolutionary fighting for Jewish emancipation in the German Revolution of 1848 and pioneer in gold-rush CA, buried in hometown. (Photograph taken by a family member circa 1950s-60s and rediscovered in my grandfather’s garage, starting a long journey.)
